(eATON) V-20 Informer™
Tideland Signal (Tideland) supplies two options of meteorological monitoring designed to work in conjunction with the V-20 Informer. Important meteorological information can be reliably sent over standard AIS message 8 to coastal authorities and vessels at low cost and in any weather conditions.
Features
Two sensor options (starter and professional) are available depending upon use and accuracy requirements. The "Starter" system comprises a single sensor which incorporates all sensors within one unit.
The "Professional" system includes a number of sensors that are individually fitted to the buoy or land based system. By using different sensors the overall system accuracy is improved.
Systems can be installed on buoys or other aids to navigation to provide:
- Wind speed
- Wind direction
- Air temperature
- Air pressure
- Humidity
